Good Kitchen + Market | Season 2 Episode 4 #MyMarietta
Good Kitchen + Market
Welcome to the My Marietta Show where we explore the people, places, events and stories that make my Marietta AMAZING!
In this episode of #MyMarietta we will be meeting with Veronica Thompkins, Co-Owner of the Good Kitchen + Market restaurant located in downtown Marietta.
Veronica will share her family's struggles with cancer and how changing the way they eat has had a profound impact on their health. She will also share her vision to take what she knows about eating GOOD and share that with the community she loves.
Why They Do What They Do
The GOOD development team has seen firsthand the effects of poor nutrition on our own health and the health of loved ones. They have learned how nutrient-dense food can help people heal and prevent disease. They have strengthened our immune systems after cancer treatments and surgery. Now that they know what they know, they believe the best way to start sharing what they have learned is for people to taste and see how nutritious food is synonymous with delicious food.
Once they have won over their taste buds and gained their customer's trust and attention, they can teach them simple ways to eat better every day.
How do they know it works? Because that’s what they have been doing over the last few years - inviting people with health challenges to come over for a meal, a fresh glass of juice and a discussion on how to turn around their health situations, one bite, one sip at a time. GOOD just gives them a greater platform for their passion - helping people eat better, heal their bodies and strengthen their immune systems.
What They Do GOOD
It’s easy to make good food choices when all of your choices are good for you and ridiculously delicious. That’s our goal at GOOD. Good for you. Ridiculously delicious. At GOOD, our promise to you is to serve delicious nutrient-dense food in a warm, welcoming setting where you feel right at home the moment you walk in the door. We believe that you can eat, drink and be healthy!
