Keely and Matt sold their home in Marietta, GA and purchased their new home also in Marietta, GA with the help of Connie and Dan Carlson.
Read the Ogburn's story about their experience with Connie and Dan Carlson of Ansley Atlanta Real Estate and what advice they have for you.
The Ogburn family decided it was time to upsize to a home that fit their growing family. Their top priority was staying in Marietta City and finding a home that had room for the twins and baby #3. Connie & Dan sold the family's previous home in Marietta and found them a more spacious home also in Marietta.
The Ogburns knew a few Realtors in the area, but nothing felt quite right until they met Connie. Keely says that when they first met Connie they weren't looking to move immediately but Connie kept in touch periodically through email to let them know she was thinking about them.
Keely noticed that Connie could point out the little details that they needed to take note of, and was able to provide an objective view on the improvements that needed to be done on the home they were currently living in. Whenever Keely and Matt wanted to see a house, Connie made sure they were walking through that house as soon as possible, even if she had to employ the help of Dan for a walkthrough or two.
Connie was patient and reassuring when Keely and Matt were waiting a while to hear back about an offer on their new home. Connie is passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, and helped them find the perfect home for their growing family.
During the sale of their previous home, Keely and Matt were impressed that Connie's services included professional staging. Having the outside perspective of Connie, Pat and Jenn really helped the Ogburns make their home appealing to all buyers.
Keely loved that Connie truly cared about their wants and needs. It was really important to them that they stay within Marietta city imits which provides an availability challenge. When something they loved became available Connie did whatever she needed to in order to make sure they could look at the home- this is where Dan came in and showed Keely and Matt the house they would then go on to purchase.
Keely and Matt put an offer on a home two months before putting their previous home up for sale. Since this is a little out of order, Connie helped them navigate that waiting period to ensure they could still purchase their new home even though their current home wasn't quite ready for the market yet. Falling in love with a house before you've even sold your current home can be stressful but Connie's expertise in navigating competition offers and getting their home ready to sell made for a memorable and special process.
Guess what? The Ogburn's moved into the house they fell in love with despite placing an offer two months before selling their previous home.
If you're considering buying or selling your home, my advice would be to
